Podcasts are really neat. I signed up for 4 starting with President Obama's weekly speech. Then I subscribed to three about the White House. All 4 are very interesting. I wouldn't have bothered tracking them down without this assignment. I plan to look up further podcasts. I did get the message that some I wanted subscriptions for had to have administrator privileges, so I will talk to EIN about that. In the meantime I am really happy about the four national government ones I found.

Text Size
To change text size in FireFox, go to Tools/Options/Content and choose the font size from the list.
Internet Explorer, go to View/Text Size. There is a list of five choices from smallest to largest. Pick one of these.
FireFox is more flexible, allowing nearly any font size but IE is easier to get to the place where you change the text size.

FireFox Add-On
I installed the CoolPreviews add-on. (www.coolpreviews.com) It allows you to have a preview of a link before loading the page. I had some trouble at first because the "tip of the day" kept coming up and obscuring most of the previewed page. Fussing around with preferences made this go away.

Tabbed Browsing
Tabbed browsing is good for fast links to many related pages. It also allows you to organize similar pages on one window. Overall, FireFox seems much faster than Internet Explorer. It also recovers better from system crashes.
